I absolutely adore the whimsical #art of 3D sidewalk chalk artist David Zinn. https://zinnart.com

Zinn creates delightful “works of ephemeral pareidolic anamorphosis” inspired by weeds, sewer covers, traffic cones & nearly everything he encounters around his Ann Arbor community.

that is so cool! I love the way they incorporate objects from the environment. That takes a lot of creativity and imagination 😄

Oh wow I recognize this art. My then 5yo daughter made me buy her his “The Chalk Art Handbook” when she spotted it at an art bookstore and it’s cool. She subsequently asked for vine charcoal because he uses it, and this led to many baths and extra loads of laundry.

Psst. Any chance you could edit in a #DavidZinn hashtag to your post so more people can find it on the tag as well, please? 🙏 👍

I used to boost things off it some months ago, but would have missed this if it hadn't gone viral on Explore. Thanks either way.
