I am not generally a #StarWars person, but I've fallen into a very fun hole recently due to the A More Civilized Age podcast (https://amorecivilizedage.net/) and my partners. I ended up watching Andor and Rogue One, and today I watched season one of The Mandalorian. This is the most SW I've consumed in years.
Anyway, a vigorous convo yesterday on whether #StarTrek can even be usefully analyzed from an anti-capitalist, anti-colonialist perspective means that I might have a new podcast early next year.

2. We have to figure out the scope of the texts covered. (Someone suggested not including TOS, and I disagree.)
3. We have to figure out the format: no way are we doing to an ep-by-ep watchalong, so we're considering how to select texts and link them across eps. We have some ideas.
4. Our partner who is a prof simply cannot have anything else on their plate before next semester. 😁
