Had a delightful #BeatSaber session this evening, and landed on a wonderfully difficult and clever map: tofubeats' "CANDYYYLAND (Pa’s Lam System Remix)", mapped by Saut: bsaber.com/songs/294c/
Here's a very skilled person playing on Expert, the hardest difficulty I beat: youtu.be/3XjdriFOgLk (unrelated: they have wildly low-contrast block arrows! 🤯) The segment starting at 2:48 in that video is so smoothly mapped that I didn't even get tangled up in left-handed mode.

in reply to Melissa Avery-Weir • • •Ooh yes this is EXACTLY what I was after, thank you! ❤
The pattern I was trying to name/define isn't a stream exactly; it goes rightdown/leftdown/rightup/leftup (or from the left, leftdown/rightdown/leftup/rightup) kinda moving your whole torso-attention from one side of the stage to the other, rolling your arms in a kinda barrel roll. There's a map of "Elements" by Lindsey Stirling that does it a whole lot

I had a very pretty, atmospheric map sit for *months* in my Ex --> E+ struggles because of a fast burst of those in the middle of the song that just knotted my brain up and sometimes clashed my controllers painfully. 😁
Oh! And thank you for reminding me Lindsey Stirling exists! Some good-looking maps of her stuff out there. 💃🏾
