Completed the first day of the Compudanzas uxn tutorial. It was really cool to write my own lil macro at the end of it, feeling pretty proud of myself!
However the uxntal-mode I added to my emacs seems a bit wonky, syntax highlighting and indentation don't seem to work well, going to see if replacing it with one of the other packages will work better.

in reply to Gosha • • •I'm almost done with day 2 of the Compudanzas uxn tutorial, but leaving the assignments for tomorrow as it's late and I'm getting tired. I got to use nasu to draw a lil goblin guy and then tiled him on the screen, that was fun!
I really like that uxntal code doesn't look inscrutable to me anymore, I feel like I have the building blocks to understand things now!

I kind of took a detour to improve my tools (ebook reading experience in emacs), but now I'm back to hacking. I think I might have enough knowledge to try to build a tiny text editor of some kind?
