Completed the first day of the Compudanzas uxn tutorial. It was really cool to write my own lil macro at the end of it, feeling pretty proud of myself!

However the uxntal-mode I added to my emacs seems a bit wonky, syntax highlighting and indentation don't seem to work well, going to see if replacing it with one of the other packages will work better.

I'm almost done with day 2 of the Compudanzas uxn tutorial, but leaving the assignments for tomorrow as it's late and I'm getting tired. I got to use nasu to draw a lil goblin guy and then tiled him on the screen, that was fun!

I really like that uxntal code doesn't look inscrutable to me anymore, I feel like I have the building blocks to understand things now!

I was super under the weather yesterday so I just now finished with the exercises in day 2. I drew a little trooper guy that took up four sprites and displayed him all over the place. Nice. Moving on to day 3!

Still working my way through day 3 of the compudanzas #uxntal tutorial: now drawing on the screen via keyboard input, which is really satisfying.

I kind of took a detour to improve my tools (ebook reading experience in emacs), but now I'm back to hacking. I think I might have enough knowledge to try to build a tiny text editor of some kind?

building a text editor might be a bit out of reach at te moment, you still need to learn a few other tricks 😀 You're doing well btw!

I'm now on day 4 of the Compudanzas tutorial and starting to veer off into unexplored territory to write my little experiments. Thanks a lot to @neauoire and the folks in the #uxn IRC channel for all the help and encouragement!

Here is a little screensaver like thingie I made as part of Day 4.
