@neauoire The #Uxn builds are missing from rabbits.srht.site, and I don't understand why: it's not as if anything changed with the build scripts recently.

https://builds.sr.ht/~rabbits/job/1001796#task-upload shows that we should expect, e.g. https://rabbits.srht.site/uxn/asma.rom to exist, but it gives a 404 right now.

Compare with https://builds.sr.ht/~rabbits/job/999428#task-upload for Bicycle, that log suggests that https://rabbits.srht.site/bicycle/bicycle.rom should be there, and that works fine.

The build log shows that srht accepted the upload, so perhaps it's a temporary fault?

could I be overwriting the builds from another repository somehow? I've been careful but maybe I've copied something for the uxn repository to create builds for rom maybe?

I checked again immediately after running one of my solar builds, so none of your other repos would have had chance to overwrite it. Hmm…

It looks like it might be a sr.ht issue? there's no errors, the sizes of builds look alright, and the build script completes its run. It's weird that only uxn has that issue like you said, I just resubmitted bicycle:

https://builds.sr.ht/~rabbits/job/1001867

And it now fails after failing to grab the uxncli for the first time, that didn't happen 4 days ago when I last made a commit. So it's something that happened recently

Aha, that's great that you found out that it was still working recently!

The build of Uxn from three days ago was able to download the previous binaries (https://builds.sr.ht/~rabbits/job/1000033#task-upload) but my solar build system didn't get triggered, so after that job completed the “needs-solar-build” flag file was 404ing (presumably along with everything else now). So it was definitely working before that build and definitely not working afterwards.

It really seems like a recent Sourcehut problem then.

I'm drowning in reports that the builds are down, I didn't expect that so many people relied on those. Do you have an idea how I could have builds up somewhere that's more reliable than sr.ht?

I just retried the job again and pages.sr.ht still aren't hosting the files :flan_tired:

As you know, I've been working on a project that'll provide hosting for Merveilles folk, so you're more than welcome to be an early adopter for that and I can host the Uxn builds there before the rest of it is ready :flan_balloon:

Whether you prefer that or hosting with Microsoft or whatever, it'll be a pain to update all the references to — scratch that, I see you've already had to do that!

in reply to Andy Alderwick

I'd love to be an early adopter for the hosting project 😀 Do you think you could make me one mac and one win build, so I could put them on somewhere. Just to have something in the meantime?

the sr.ht folks are pretty responsive in IRC, have you tried reaching out to them? #sr.ht on liberal.chat
