@ubuntu ofcourse. The Gnome settings and extensions are closest to what I like and there's a good online support/community if I have a problem.

I distro hopped for years. I finally settled on Garuda linux in 2020 and I haven't moved on yet. Garuda has been very stable and you can rollback with ease when you make a mistake. Saved me a few times.

My answer to this question is usually whatever I'm daily-driving.

So, today, Fedora Kinoite.

Aren't you glad we don't actually have to make this choice once-and-for-always?

Arch. It’s so customizable I can basically “distro hop” by just reconfiguring my install if I want to spice things up

hmm, I want to say nixos, but I'd like to see where it goes in 10 years

After a few years of distro hopping, I've recently returned to Linux Mint MATE with no plans to wander again any time soon.

Been using EndeavourOS for months and it's been very good to me, so probably that.

I would love to say gentoo but I need something a bit more user friendly for school, so probably fedora and its spins. Maybe gentoo once I get a bit more acquainted with it.
