I've been playing with the idea of building a Digital Research Academy and I need your feedback!

The idea is to build a network of trainers in #OpenScience, software #RSEng, and #dataliteracy from different fields to be able to provide great training.

Digital skills in research are needed more than ever. Especially in growing fields like Open Science, Data Literacy, and Research Software Engineering.

Have you looked at The Carpentries projects? In particular there is an #HPC carpentry effort going on now organized by @tkphd and others to develop lessons for the HPC community. Here’s a link to their most recent co-working meeting. Perhaps a similar effort could be a good approach for the RSE community.
