In the background, the #beach opposite #stornoway #harbour where we deployed our new equipment to capture #rope and #net mending #cuttings (#ELFG). The situation is pretty bad with #soil mostly composed of
#plastic fibre once the #seaweed has decomposed. Hopefully we will stop this from occurring in our #environment.

The tideline on the beach is dominated by floatsam deposit which is seaweed and net and rope mending off cuts. About 10% of the picture is plastic fibre here
