Originally called UTEngine, Surreal Engine is an attempt to reimplement enough of the original Unreal Engine to get games like the original Unreal Tournament (99) working.

Hopefully this can be extended to support UT2004 (or another project steps up), and build on 64-bit. So we can get UT2004 back on Mac where support for 32-bit was dropped a few years ago.

It would be cool if eventually Luxtorpeda could be updated with this, it'd be awesome to have a native engine for the original Deus Ex on Linux.

My earliest online gaming moments were on the pictured map - with my stupid high dialup ping and everything.
