I can't even recall the circumstances now, but sometime in the last year I found an acorn on the ground and shoved it in a pot on a whim. Now apparently I have to figure out what to do with a fucking oak tree.

In 50-100 years, with enough other oak trees, you could build a Galleon.

hmm, I guess 20 years until the tree is big enough to harvest, 5-10 years for it to dry out enough.

The metal rings would indeed be relatively trivial. 😀
