I believe the number for me was 5x miles ridden in the 12 months after buying an ebike, compared to the 12 months before. #BikeTooter

While nice, I suspect that this is an infrastructure problem (no winter upkeep; bike paths where available designed for "exercise"; longer distances, etc) that's being pushed to the consumer.

But wouldn’t the exercise be higher intensity on a regular bike? Probably depends on the hills I guess
