A tall plume of goldenrod covered in tiny, vibrant, yellow flowers at the top of its stem with long, thin, spearlike, green leaves below, blooming among other vegetation, including some green honey locust leaves (I think) and a couple of tall, blooming teasels with pink-purple flowers on the spiny heads. There is a big, yellow and black striped bumblebee browsing on one of the flowering teasels.
A mix of vibrant yellow and green: plumes and plumes of flowering goldenrod next to a bike path on a warm, cloudy, summer afternoon.
