On June 23, we co-hosted an event with #SUSE, @openproject, and #OpenNebula to discuss the EU Cloud and AI Development Act (#CADA).
❌ As it is now, #CADA, art. 41 asks member states to "encourage" the use of #OpenSource. We've seen that verb before and know it produces very little.
✅ The fix: Make this a binding requirement in procurement and shift the default from single-vendor to keeping the market open and competitive.
