Leather edge finishing is a lot of work.
First photo is a raw edge.
2nd, corners scrived off (bevelled) ##
3rd dyed
4th waxed and finished

The end result is great but damn, it’s a lot of rubbing with the finishing tool.

It’s raining here today, so the temperatures are ok for lighting the forge. Thus I started on this whimsical project, which will involves #metalwork, #woodwork, #leatherwork and probably some #sewing too. #blacksmith #BeMorePirate
