A game exists called Wild Animal Racing.
It is objectively the worst game ever to exist on Steam.
But the reviews though are works of pure artistic and comedy beauty. They are the closest I have experienced to proving the existence of God.
If you're on Steam, please go nominate it now for the one Steam award it qualifies for (Labor of Love) and let the ensuing hilarity bless future generations.

Oh, and please boost. Thank you.

For those with an interest, I maintain a collection of SQL queries that could be useful for Polaris ILS admins. Whenever I write a new query I think might be useful to others, I comment the hell out of it, clean it up, and add it to a GitLab repo and a self-hosted BookStack system.
Anyway, I just added two new queries for getting a complete patron circ history and a complete item circ history:

in reply to David de Groot 𓆉 • • •I think my first "proper" Unix system was a Sun box I did some work on about ... '96, '97? We had some Digital Unix running CDE at the TAFE I worked at around then, but I didn't get to do anything with them. Some dude with a long grey beard ran that stuff (yeah, seriously).
It's a bit of a blur, but I then got heavily exposed to a ton of stuff when I started at Monash in 2000 and suddenly was responsible for a heap of DEC stuff and an SGI lab.

Unknown parent • • •hmm, scratching recalcitrant brain cells ... Sun & Pyramid systems '91-96, also had a lab of DEC boxes, but it was 12-13°C in their lab, with a high airflow[1] and I didn't have to look after them so I never went there
[1] crap airconditioning had it really really cold at the end of the building closest to the plant room, gradually increasing to pleasant office temperature at the far end of the long corridor

Co. at the time then went with a commercial odd multi-user timeslicing COBOLy DOS-like thing and eventually QNX (which was v. nice to work with)
