It’s not just pigeons - knitted a very small and loppy pocket blåhaj. It’s not perfect but I tried 😀 Quality Street for scale. It sort of looks like the little blåhaj is excited to have a sweet.

Last Week Tonight did a big food safety episode in its most recent season. LWT pointed out how jurisdictional gaps between FDA and USDA cause problems. And how underfunding is a big problem. Congress has been slashing budgets for decades.

When food safety affects children, society tends to pay more attention than when it affects adults. So regular media has been doing follow-ups on the lead contamination in applesauce.

@BrodieOnLinux
I'm looking forward to how digital TV tuners will be handled, since a single tuned station typically presents a video stream, multiple audio streams and subtitles.

Currently various media players have to know how to talk to a tuner directly or we use something like tvheadend to abstract this behind http and htsp for a control API, a DVR function, and outputs for streaming.

Tuning one multiplex (24-40Mbps) may have 10 to 50 simultaneous channels so the patchbay would be useful.

Updated the video with a cut, and same for the article: Valve's notice on Deck Verified about it requiring an active internet connection is wrong.

Lot of hate for it on the discord. Good lord. I swear none of them have been paying attention to some of the more morally ambiguous tasks in video games of the past 20 years...

I personally highly doubt I can ever truly understand the mind of a true power-broker, power-hungry plutocrat.

And, frankly, I don't really think I *ever*, ever want to truly know.

This is an article that took a lot of strength to write and I might take it down again. But I felt like it is an article that is very necessary right now. bastianallgeier.com/notes/gran…

I wonder how long it will take companies to figure out that if you just put a thin front end on ChatGPT as your customer service bot then you’ll have a bad time as frustrated customers jailbreak into being a regular ChatGPT prompt? 🤦🏾‍♂️
