@janvlug thank you! It's understandable that you publish to were the audience is, however we need to be encouraging bridges as well (in parrallel if necessary) or we'll be trapped in the same way evil corp(s) had us trapped before nextcloud came along.

Believe it is also a symptom of wanting to find “good” vs “bad” guys or generally binaries. It becomes so easily to validate those thoughts and people become so quickly dramatic.

Certainly news for me, since my bsky account has more reach than my Twitter ever did.
The art feeds (and the fact you can remove the "Discover" feed) are pretty great, too.
It might not be the Twitter killer - at least not right now - but it's good enough for me. Might even keep it alongside Mastodon as I slowly transfer to European alternatives to American monopolistic tech services.

in reply to It's FOSS • • •Just when I got Arch set up to my liking, I’m trying to switch over to Artix. My idea is to use Turnstile and Seatd instead of elogind, and then to play around with Hyprland as DE.
Eventually I want to take this experiment further and run that setup on Gentoo 😂
