One of my favorite animals is the very rare blanket octopus. Few people have seen them firsthand. youtu.be/QJcXMPJ9XN8
The female has a spectacular ‘cape’ enclosing her tentacles, making her look larger to predators. She can grow >6.5ft or 2m!
The male is smaller than a walnut. He weighs 40,000x less than the female measuring 2.4cm.
Blanket octopus are the most extreme example of female vs male size discrepancy across the (non-mircoscopic) animal kingdom. #nature #science #SharedPlanet

Actually Fosscord should feel scared of Discord: youtube.com/watch?v=nNWyCHPeFN….
Unfortunetly, as this is really cool project, but still not a long-term solution IMO.
One because of lawyers, two because we need more general protocols adoption.

How is your effort on #Socialcoop governance going? loomio.com/d/txYOWJ4q/organizi…
I'm curious if there are overlaps with my thread on working group structure: loomio.com/d/4u7oCqaP/working-…
Should we be conjoining these discussions? Or keeping them separate?
Glad to have company in seeing some degree of necessary #Socialcoop reinvention.
Organizing a growing Social.Coop: an idea for a proposal
As Rene Magritte wrote, "this is not a proposal." This is a draft for discussion that may lead to a formal proposal for a new organizational body for Social.Coop.Loomio
Working group turnover time?
TLDR: This is an attempt to start a discussion about changing the membership in our working groups.Particularly with the large membership growth, I think it's time to more intentionally orchestrate turnover in the working groups.Loomio
