Between open source, fair source, and close source. Which one do you prefer? 🤔

fair source is definitely more pro-business, with it's "delayed open-sourceness" and "viewable source-code only" restrictions.

since I am no developer or comnercial trader I prefer as a client of course open source. If I was not client only I might prefer different license models . Even closed source I would not exclude completely . Sharing source is bound to expectations . If I had none I see no reason to share abandoned sources.

Open source. Anything else I consider closed source.

Nothing fair about "Fair Source". That doesn't exist. It's just an excuse / attempt to ride the good vibes of FLOSS.

Being "open" is good marketing nowadays so companies love to climb onboard, especially if they can prevent from actually being open.

Free/Libre Open Source Software all the way.
