It's bullshit like this is why I do what ever I can to get away from shitty google.
If anyone is using an android phone without F-Droid store installed.
You need to install that ASAP!

- I had no idea this was ever an issue, because I of course have always used the Nextcloud app from F-droid, and have only been using "de-googled" Android ROM's. Yet another reason to distance farther from Google
