Excusez-moi?! I'm still on Mastodon, still working on Mastodon--I love it here. Seems like the journalist has now removed the paragraph from the article, but has not published a retraction, and the false statement is still in the audio version. Where did they get this idea from?

I find it ironic that the article mentions a new network for fact-checking, yet they publish an article without verifying the information. I find the level of journalism lamentable, not only in my country...
You are completely wrong. It's John Mastodon who is still working on the project. You are just some random guy hanging around mastodon.social. Get your alternative facts right, please.
Here you can write him to let him know he "forgot" to change de audio. And that maybe a good idea for restoring Mastodon reputation would be to make a new audio where he talks about Mastodon (and stats of how many people have moved from other places after each Big Tech scandal ;) )

It's all the more regrettable given that this journalist, François Saltiel, is usually well informed and advocates for open solutions. I have lodged a complaint with France Culture and hope that he will rectify this in a future column.
