It would also be nice to not be forced by Nextcloud onto a centralized, proprietary, monopoly surveillance platform to see them.

@helpers I write from my mastodon profile because from my account tness@venera.social all the messages not leave and not happen. Only the RSS that work. My question is :

on #mastodon my timeline is clean I can release the publications of the lists that I want to look at the same time. on #Friendan I ordered my circles and my channels correctly. Is there a way to block or authorize a circle to display publication on the Timeline.

It’s sad to not see more cooperation between #Mastodon / #Fediverse and #IndieWeb

The latter is focused on social semantics for the web and the former for social semantics for ActivityPub – when the two overlap they should coordinate – and articles are very much web pages and something the #IndieWeb knows best practices around

If you follow me and you don't speak German, you can easily remove my German posts from your timeline by adjusting the language settings.

Go to my profile page, select the dot menu and click "Change subscribed languages". Then select the languages that you speak.

Featured hashtags on Mastodon were originally going to be a really useful feature, but the actual implementation with them off to the side (where trending hashtags usually are) made them totally invisible on the mobile web view and confusing on the desktop view.

They were originally supposed to be above the timeline on a profile (see screenshot). I've started an issue asking for this to be implemented, feel free to join with posts or thumbs if this interests you:
