Hier noch mal eine vereinfachtere Ansicht des Schemas über Profile und Plattformen im fediVerse des Internets und wie dezentrale Kommunikationsprotokolle ineinander greifen.

Wenn sie den Profilnamen in der Grafik mit @AwetTesfaiesus ersetzen, den domain Namen der castoPod Instanz mit podcast.gruene.de, den peerTube domain Namen mit tube.gruene-kassel.de, die mastodon Instanz URL mit gruene.social und den domain Namen des friendica node mit sozial.awet-tesfaiesus.de bekommen sie in ungefähr einen Eindruck was unsere dezentralen Strukturen bedeuten und ermöglichen.

Beispiel:
@AwetTesfaiesus@podcast.gruene.de veröffentlicht ein Gespräch mit Eunice Njoki das all jene die ihrem Podcast folgen auf ihrer Podcast APP angeboten bekommen und dann auf der Fahrt zum Parteitag im ÖPNV anhören können. Auf ihrem peerTube Kanal @AwetTesfaiesus@tube.gruene-kassel.de, der vom Regionalverband ihrer Partei unterhalten wird, posted sie dann vom Parteitag zusammen mit der ehemaligen Beauftragten der Bundesregierung für Kultur und Medien Claudia Roth einen kurzen Gruß als Livestream. Beide Veröffentlichungen boosted sie daraufhin von ihrem MdB Profil @AwetTesfaiesus@gruene.social aus. Und zu guter letzt favorisiert sie alle diese Beiträge mit ihrem ureigenen Profil @AwetTesfaiesus@sozial.awet-tesfaiesus.de, was u.a. dazu führt das sie Kopien von all diesem Material auf ihrer eigenen Instanz für sich privat abgespeichert hat.

Wenn sie dann, zum Beispiel am Jahresende ein kleines Grußwort zu Weihnachten von eben diesem persönlichen eigenen Profil in unseren sozialen Netzwerken mit im Text eingebetteten Links, die auf jene Mediendateien verweisen versendet, bekommen Kontakte von ihr überall auf der Welt, auf Instanzen in Kenia, Eritrea oder Australien, ebenso wie eventuell per Email oder RSS feed, ein Lebenszeichen ihres Kontaktes Awet in Deutschland. Eine Information die dezentral auf vielen unterschiedlichen Servern im Internet, praktisch 100% Zensurresistent abgespeichert wird.

Schema das darstellt wie ein Pseudonym, in diesem Falle mit dem Namen "@bitpickup", im fediVerse auf verschiedenen Plattformen und mit Hilfe unterschiedlicher Serviceprovider eine Webpräsenz erstellen kann die auf einzigartige Weise ein resilientes und somit ziemlich unabhängiges Setup ermöglichen.

¡Se Llama Fediverso! Octubre, 2025

Para difundir al Fediverso, el pasado viernes 24 de octubre se llevó a cabo la sesión ¡Se Llama Fediverso! en el LabNL, en el marco de la 14.ª Semana Global de la Alfabetización Mediática e Informacional organizada por la UNESCO.

A pesar de que me considero de los menos indicados para dar una charla sobre el tema (ya que mi perfil y mis experiencias como docente se encuentran en el área del Arte Gráfico y Secuencial) me animé a preparar material enfocado a explicar los conceptos básicos a personas sin ningún tipo de contacto anterior con el tema pues en la ciudad de Monterrey no he visto movimiento que persiga dicho fin.

Esta edición de la Semana AMI estaba enfocada en Inteligencia Artificial (¡giuk!) pero no quise retirar mi participación pues también estuvo programada una charla con Verificado MX, y bueno, tampoco quise dejar pasar la oportunidad de deslizar comentarios críticos sobre el gasto energético y los centros de datos.

¿Cómo salió al final? Pues diferente y mejor a como lo había imaginado, entre las personas que asistieron estaban @alemm, @vgarzareyna y @brazhh que ayudaron a que la charla fluyera de mejor manera, así que les doy las gracias. Good morning everyone.

One million people are facing imminent death and destruction at the hands of Israel in Gaza.¹

Israel has issued evacuation orders for one million people. These are people who have been displaced over and over again in Israel’s ongoing genocide. They have nowhere left to go. To move South costs thousands of dollars to rent land, a tent, and sanitation due to war-time profiteering.² That’s if they can get someone outside of Palestine to host their fundraiser and if they can keep their social media accounts from being shut down by mainstream Big Tech platforms and after paying half the donation amount or more in commission while withdrawing the funds that are sent to them.

Things are desperate.

Mastodon and the fediverse are the last lifeline for people from Gaza. It’s their last chance of reaching us in the outside world so that we might help them survive the genocide and famine being wrought out by Israel.

@joynewacc and I are having video conversations with people from Gaza who have Mastodon accounts every day to verify them in hopes that this will help them raise funds to live.

You can find the verified accounts on Gaza Verified:

I hope you will follow them on the fediverse, perhaps send them a few words of love and solidarity so they know they’re not alone but that there are some of us that see, hear, love and support them.

And, if you can, please support their fundraisers, boost their posts, and share their accounts.

Thank you in advance for making our friends from Gaza who are facing unspeakable horrors welcome on the fediverse and for showing that humanity is not entirely dead in the rest of the world.

Please note that many Palestinians use automated translation tools, including AI-based ones so you might notice issues with translation or even transliteration (so, for example, a name is written Eman in one place but Iman in another). Also, not everyone is social media or technically savvy. These are everyday people trying to survive a genocide and a famine so please understand that there might be issues with the accounts. That doesn’t mean that they’re not genuine. If you have any concerns, you can talk to me. (Furthermore, there are concerted efforts by some groups to spread FUD about Palestinian accounts with the goal of getting them all shut down. If you notice any such behaviour, please also alert me. To server admins: closing their accounts is tantamount to handing out a death sentence. We’re here to help if you need it.)

PPS. If you know of any people from Gaza with Mastodon accounts who are not on Gaza Verified, please tell them about it. You can give them a link to gaza-verified.org/guide-arabic… with further information. The guide also includes a list of Mastodon servers whose admins have publicly stated that their servers are safe spaces for Palestinians to open accounts so please feel free to share that with people from Gaza who are having their accounts closed on Bluesky and elsewhere.
