For free, but for how long, and under what terms? Also, it's Broadcom. Another service to create an account for. I tried downloading VMware Workstation back when they announced this on Twiddler, but the site was probably under load, because it didn't download. I don't know why I even want to download it, Virtualbox and QEMU work just fine for my use case.

NO THANKS! There are REAL FREE and more open #opensource hypervisors available for any #OS. Closed source propriety "black boxes" are a thing of the past. #vmware #broadcom can go fuck themself until they "free" and open their source code for it.
