This is how a novelist uses Emacs to build a "digital oasis" away from AI slop. 📝

Is it emacs or warp?
This is my problem with linux. Constructive criticism, confusion and nothing straight forward is a downfall. Article never mentions Warp, why? I would've had Linux long ago if it was easy and straight forward, as this article isn't straight forward never mentioning warp.

How many sites bait and switch, I'm looking for emacs and all I see is warp, not clicking it. is this what they're referring to or is this an ad, maybe emacs is below... gave up, bye bye

I ❤️ Emacs. Definitely my favorite editor. It does have a learning curve (the built-in tutorial is a pretty good way to get started), and configuration can be a bit arcane (I now use Doom Emacs as it made setting up my dev tools a bit easier). But I love how flexible it is. And I find myself trying to use Emacs keybinding all over the place now (I can't tell you how many times I've accidentally opened the print dialog in my browser trying to move the cursor to the previous line). 😃
