Should #Shadertoy have #ActivityPub / #Fediverse support? 🤔

I have an account there, containing a dodgy old raytracing experiment. But I like looking at other people's stuff.

The site already has profiles, posts, likes, follow mechanics.

It's fun to think about how one would federate Shadertoy posts. HTML iframe with a fallback animated GIF somehow?

The site lets high-tier Patreon supporters make feature suggestions. Any Shadertoy enthusiasts interested in asking?

I think so. I'm not so familiar with Shadertoy but I've felt similarly about sites like printables.com . Fun fact: I proposed adding support for ActivityPub in Prusa forums and they deleted my post for unknown reasons

@ch0ccyra1n I guess some places are more open to suggestions than others. 😐 I used to follow one of the Shadertoy creators, Inigo Quilez, on Twitter, and now I still do via bird.makeup. He seems really cool. But I have no idea how actively the site is still being developed.
