Some folks at #FOSDEM tried to buy the makeshift hats one of our team members brought, so I arranged for this prototype of an official hat to be made. It's a fisherman beanie with our logo embroidered. I'm trying to gauge interest here. Is this something you'd buy? (Poll in follow-up post)
@CppGuy I compare prices with regular clothes shops and it seems pretty run of the mill for a beanie. There are cheaper ones but they're polyester, not cotton.
I say no, not because I'm against the idea but because I think there's more room for creativity. Masto has some really cool designs for mascots et al that could be used to great effect here, even if it would raise the price.
No. I won't support organic farming. It takes more land, more water, and more pesticide than conventional farming for the same yield. Just wasteful and woo.
I would definitely like to. I live in the land of the Trump tariff tax, and I don't know how much it would cost delivered here, so I can't commit at this time. (I hope and pray those beanies will be a regular item for you in about, say, three years.)
if available in European stores with European prices, no import taxes and reasonable postage, yes. Too many online stores based in non-European parts with low prices prices until you add the extra costs.
