With Google's Manifest v3 on the horizon, this would be prime time for Mozilla to start promoting #Firefox aggressively.

For me it is not easy to judge. I am very happy that #firefox is there with up to date usability and that #mozilla exists.
In a world where #opensource alternatives like #chromium are offering very user-friendly alternatives and the market share of Firefox is decreasing, something has to change. So Laura Chambers is organising important change. Change comes with the risk of failure but with no change Mozilla could die.
And remember. The biggest enemy of the good is the better.

What I don't understand is why it comes down to Mozilla having to appeal to everyone rather than to everyone just simply being sick of using browsers owned by major corporations that try to take (and misuse) their private info, have iron-grip control of what they can do with the software, etc etc. Firefox should not be standing alone as the only still relatively clean major browser capable of fully operating on the modern Web.
