The Godot Engine team recently posted about more issues with "AI slop", including various pull requests that have become a big drain on resources.

Very sad to see how AI kills everything nice. But instead of murdering terminators, it is killing via some AI bros that want to boost their GitHub stats (or whatever the reason for their PRs is).

it's about time for them to limit PRs to humans-only and forbid the use of AI in either writing code or text.

let's be real, whoever wants to contribute will take an extra step to learn how the code works (or be open to it), instead of just submitting AI slop. they will be interested in writing things themselves, instead of using AI.
