Here's my (relatively) portable #famicom (#nes) #chiptune setup.

I can power it with a portable USB battery and it packs away easily into a small bag. Great way to get my #2A03, #MIDINES fix on the go!

For other #chipmusic folks, what's your favourite (relatively) portable setup?

For other #micromusic or #electronicmusic people, what about you all?

Nanoloop mono on gameboy (some kind of weird analog synth/sequencer) is by far my go-to tool when synced with any korg volca (mostly fm, keys, or bass).

If I want some bad general midi cheesiness or a fun little midi sequencer, I quite enjoy the yamaha qy-8.

My tiniest and most versatile micro-synth is the korg nts-1. Can't say how much I love it.

I got an nts-1 as well and really wanted to program some of my own stuff for it but was sort of disappointed with how poorly their code was documented.

That said, it's still a great little synth with a lot of power behind it! What sort of custom sounds and effects have you added?

The only paid one I have is https://www.sinevibes.com/korgodds/ And it's really powerful.

Proba-B by Tweeeeeak is similar in a way, and pretty cool too. https://github.com/tweeeeeak/nts

There's also a pluck one, and of course, a bunch of FX (an autopan, some good reverb). I really don't remember the name of most of them, but I can make a list of my favorite this week-end if you're interested!

Yeah, I have to say that I have been unable to code anything for it.

@gala Yeah, if it's not too much trouble, I'd love to hear about some of your favourites!
