So #Nestle is apparently really, really bad..
I knew about some of it (like the recent scandal with #Perrier water) but not all, for example:
- the lobbying for removing access to water as a human right
- the aggressive extraction of water in order to bottle it and sell it for profit
- the use of forced child labour to produce sugar
- forcing their bad milk baby formula on people from developping countries
Somehow they just get along with paying some fines when found out and continuing their unethical business.
I'm not sure what the best source for all this is (let me know if you have one) but I'm going to try and boycott their products. Is there an app that can tell you if a brand belongs to Nestle since I don't think it's always shown on the packaging? In the meantime I found this: ethicalconsumer.org/food-drinkโฆ
