Waterfall in Black and White

Wildcat falls is a small waterfall located off of highway 140 in Yosemite National Park.
A small waterfall y Yosemite standards but still large by most standards. I used a slow shutter to create the silky look of the water while trying to channel my inner Ansel Adams with the tones in and around the falls. Waterfall In Black and White
As the title indicates, I chose to shoot this in black and white to highlight the contrast between the silky water and the rocks and dark forest.
At the top of the image you can see where Wildcat Creek drops over the edge of the waterfall in a single stream until it starts to cascade over multiple large boulders. On the right side of the waterfall the rocks are larger and therefore the water seems to jump from one boulder to another. As the falls fan out on the left the rocks are much smaller and the water seems to use these smaller rocks as steps. The waterfall has a dark forest flanking it.
