1. Had a wonderful time in Chicago visiting friends over the weekend, and went twice to the Art Institute of Chicago. (photos attached of my good time)
2. Took the Amtrak train between Ann Arbor and Chicago. It was so much better than driving, even though the train hit a tree laying on the tracks the way and delayed our arrival.
1. The August weather continues in Vermont, giving us time to stack the last of the wood, put the gardens to bed and hike. 2. I just deleted every game from my iPhone and look forward to the extra time I will have each day. 3. This space seems to be attracting some very nice people relieved and surprised that people here are so gracious and civil.
