Another shot from one of my SOFIA flights. This was 22nd July 2019, shot thousands of Km south of NZ. I was lucky enough to be in the flight deck as we flew beneath an auroral substorm. Apols for the low quality but this was hand held! #aurora #Auroraaustralis #astronomy
