Some planets, particularly young ones, are puffy. These gaseous worlds have size, but lack mass, meaning they have a consistency similar to cotton candy! #CottonCandyDay

is this new or have they been doing it the whole time? I never understood how their directx translation was so slow being that the problem's already been solved for years with DXVK.

Cotton candy … planets? These “super-puffs,” discovered by our @NASAExoplanets Kepler telescope, look as big as Jupiter but are roughly a hundred times lighter in mass. Like real cotton candy, their puffy atmospheres won’t last forever: go.nasa.gov/3WhgZi3 #CottonCandyDay

Content warning: semi serious, fedi apis

at this point can someone just patch the mastodon api onto misskey?

yeah it's an ugly api (i think it was written before mastodon terminology was finalized, also sends everyone's bio with each post) but it has good app support, so...

Typical Seth Abramson

Rather than ask friends to ask @Gargron or his admin, he just goes off in public. It was probably a mistake, just as mine was. He blocks all his many critics. Heaven forbid someone should block him back. Post .news is probably rewarding him for this caterwauling.

in reply to Shoq

I looked him up, he was on mstdn.social, nothing to do with me, though it seems he’s also confusing it with mastodon.social
in reply to Eugen Rochko

He gets a lot of things confused. King of the 1000 tweet threads.
in reply to Eugen Rochko

As someone who has endured this blowhard's conspiracy theories for years (debunking many of them), he will get traction for this. His gullible stans are legion. You may want to officially respond via Medium or some other venue. The fact that it's not even your domain, should make him look appropriately ridiculous. He is flat-out defaming you and the entire network. You may even want to consult with your attorney.
in reply to Shoq

I looked him up and the tweet where he links to that article. "A Harrowing Tale That Explains Why Everyone Who Is on Mastodon Should Get Off It Right Now. Please share this important information with anyone you know who is currently on Mastodon. I do not want what happened to me to happen to others." Of course, the replies are disabled, so there is no way to respond without giving him attention.
in reply to Eugen Rochko

I would like to suggest that at some future point that txt in “” be italicized. So that people can clearly see a quote statement and not conflate it with the posters statements like I almost just did. Just a thought.
