while it's horrible what raiders do - sometimes I worry the locals aren't much better. Like in certain places - they too contribute to deforestation. So if you don't have one, you have another. How do we keep both from causing issues - so we don't have either? Because if we get rid of 1 issue - palm oil, another may arise - aka - what locals do. So how do we address the issue that locals bring after we remove palm oil?

It's one thing to promote the boycotting of palm oil. I agree with that. But one need not become radical and turn vegan to do it. I really wish you would stop promoting this idea. Not every farm that sells grassfed meat, organic dairy products, etc. is involved in using palm oil, and not everyone who is against doing so is vegan. You are alienating the rest of us who would otherwise support you.
