In the deck-builder Voraxis you're a parasite that eats through a living planet
Voraxis is a really interesting take on deck-building that has you play cards to eat through a living planet, with gameplay that really captured me.Liam Dawe (GamingOnLinux)

The live feed was pretty much useless since...forever. A live feed on this type of social media just doesn't really work.
Funny to think back, the Mastodon Social admins emailed me a complaint years ago that our news auto-posts were set to public and showed up in the live feed (so what??). They gave me a stern warning on setting them unlisted back then. Stupid.
RE: mastodon.social/@staff/1158499โฆ
As previously announced, live feeds are now disabled on our servers by default.
We don't think they provide a good experience on our server, but feel free to reach out to us if you'd like to still see them.
Mastodon.social Staff (@staff@mastodon.social)
We plan to disable the "live feeds" of the local and federated timelines on mastodon.social within in the next couple of weeks. They are already disabled on mastodon.online.Mastodon.social Staff (Mastodon)

I'd say painting - collage.
With genAI You lack the harmony, thoughtfullness, creativity that goes in the painting, in favor of a crazy patchwork of random strips and bits that you smudge over to fit the frame.

in reply to Eugen Rochko • • •that argument indicates they don't understand either photography or painting or art in general.
It might screw over illustration and stock photography rather badly but I suspect the economics of that don't work well either.
