An AI coding agent powered by Claude Opus 4.6 deleted a company's entire production database, and all its backups, in 9 seconds. No prompt. No confirmation. Just one API call and months of customer data gone. Then the AI explained exactly what it did wrong, in writing.

Hey @ubuntu, I have been using #Ubuntu as my daily driver since I started using it in 2005, and I have been promoting it around me as well. But this kind of idiocy is going to push me to another distribution, and I'm sure many other users as well. Ubuntu doesn't need #AI, if people want to use AI, they can install specific software. The OS has no business integrating this directly
