Heroic is really going great guns at the moment. Ever since Lutris' sowed the seeds of it's own eventual destruction , it's become my non-steam compatibility tool of choice.
nobody ever needed this. Itโs a useless William gates memorial key, no matter what you print on it. Weโre all not waiting for the next big thing called copilot key.
I think the key should be done away with altogether. My favourite keyboards don't have them, so I'm probably biased. Although, I did recently get a new keyboard with the dreaded Win key and I discovered that Win+. lets you type in an emoji by name. Kind of shifted my opinion a little bit... it can actually be useful instead of something that I hit by mistake 100% of the time.
the thing Iโm going to miss most going from Mac to Linux is the โcommandโ key; having cmd+c as the universal keystroke for โcopyโ that does not conflict with ctrl+c in the terminal is probably the most common but having all of that deconflicted has been really helpful
I use Linux with a perixx KU-9938 ergonomical keyboard. Here this key is labelled "Start", which I do find acceptable. Never forget: this key already existed before #microslop under various names (Super/Hyper, Meta, Mode, etc.):

I really like making my own za'taar, but it's really hard to find sumac locally these days. Really though, I know there is no real spice substitute for it, but I checked online for fun...
staghorn sumac is common in the northwest and will flower in the summerโฆ maybe an opportunity to harvest? (Iโve often thought about it also being a lover of sumac but havenโt tried harvesting my own).

@Gargron Was wondering if there was a cutdown Mastodon server option for people who don't want to host other users, but just want to host their own account? Basically their server would just be a profile that they own and could use to access other Mastodon servers.
Yes, there is an option called single-user mode that does that. There are also light-weight alternatives (possibly with different features) like @gotosocial.

I use shampoo and conditioner soap bars, which also eliminates plastic as well as palm oil. I make my own soap too, making sure that none of the ingredients contain palm oil. I wish there were labels on bottles to say 'this contains palm oil' in big writing, but then, would it stop the majority of consumers using their favourite brands? I get the impression so many just don't care.

Knowingly using a piece of software that *BY DESIGN* fabricates text is not "hallucination" - it is fraud. I'd be prosecuted if I sat down and invented references for submissions in a court case. I'd lose my job as an academic if I did the same for a paper. Someone explain why automating fraud has somehow made it completely fine and consequence-free?
