New # just out the oven. Nutmeg, date and Grana Padano cheese, for something different.

I managed to forget to turn the oven down (usually pre-heat to 220°C then turn down to 185°C after the initial steam blast for 44mins), so this one baked for 22mins at 220°C and 9 mins at 180°C. When it cools, I’ll see how that changed (or didn’t) the texture.

No discernible difference in texture. Tasty, but the cheese is not noticeable. Should have used more. # #
