Even if Meta releases this under a permissive license I'm still going to be a bit skeptical of it. Meta has a history of making open projects that end up getting tied to their proprietary systems.

I'd be concerned that a few years down the line this library will end up tied to Facebook Gaming or Quest VR stuff.

We are so lucky that Lord Zuck has blessed us with the privilege of igl.

This will probably end up tied to a proprietary platform. Meta stuff always backfires..
