In the #Fediverse we have a good history of using #BBB bigbluebutton.org/ as is native, not alien to WHY and HOW we do things. Can understand coming in from the #fahernista and #NGO agenda is a learning curve, good to try to be native to the space you would like to be a part of. Welcome.

in reply to vagabond • • •@J12t @UncensoredNews We have used QiQochat for many events, including the Internet Identity Workshop which has been held consistently since 2003 and She’s Geeky: Connecting Women in Tech held sporadically since 2007. The platform works well and we like the founders Lucas and Sandra. They are a tiny family biz.
I like looking at new platforms, and am totally open to checking out Big Blue Button. Fahernista isn’t a term I know, but yes, I work for an NGO.

Being fun and easy to work with is the most important thing for me.
I’m happy to look at other things for future virtual events.
