Her run with the group included the Grateful Dead studio records
Wake of the Flood (1973), From the Mars Hotel (1974), Blues for Allah (1975), Terrapin Station (1977) and Shakedown Street (1978).
Godchaux and her husband Keith Godchaux also made the 1975 album, Keith & Donna, which featured Grateful Dead bandmate Jerry Garcia. The duo also appeared on Garcia's solo albums during this time. (Keith passed away in 1980 after an auto accident).

The last surviving Battle of Britain pilot, John "Paddy" Hemingway, has died at the age of 105.
Mr Hemingway, who was originally from Dublin, joined the Royal Air Force (RAF) as a teenager before World War Two.
The pilot's squadron shot down 90 enemy aircraft during an 11-day period in May 1940, and provided fighter cover during the Battle of France.
During the war, Gp Capt Hemingway was shot down four times.
