Thinking about prominences, those imaged must be larger than Earth, hm? Rough scaling from the RBMK shot gives me 60,000+ km for that standout lambda-shaped arch. 4+ Earths, give or take. Astounding. #eclipse2024

Ran an insect blacklight during the totality, with a control run the evening before. Got a ton of insects during both, but very different species. Fascinating. More later.
