Another stupidly long blog post. If I could do these more than once a month, they wouldn't have to be so lengthy, I bet.

Have you ever heard of #CDLC format for guitar “sheet” music? It’s been on my TODO list to look into for months, but reading your post brought it to mind. It’s basically what Rocksmith used, and there are players and ways to write your own.
customsforge.com/ is supposed to be a good resource.

actually... we've known all this for decades
it's not news & it's distraction from the reality that the leading cause of the low life expectancy in the US is the paywall around health care
they also drink, drug, & smoke in Europe, where lifespans are much longer than the US
but why allow an American any small pleasure in their short, miserable life if an oligarch enjoys watching us die in misery?

My experience with their new GTK app is mostly fine. I’ve not had any crashes or issues that prevent me from using it. The app is now included in the Arch Extra repository which is cool.
It did occasionally “forget” that I was signed in. Contacting support was a waste of time; just giving me the standard “Arch is not a supported distro” line. The AUR package was using the Ubuntu deb package 🙄
They should work on improving the startup; it takes a few seconds before anything is usable.
