I just spoke to the warehouse. In an effort to ship as many orders as possible before the holidays, they used all available packaging. They now have new boxes and future orders will be packaged to a better standard. I am sorry for the subpar experience. I hope the toy has arrived safely.

@KAM0F Just because something is open source doesn't mean it's free, they use google adsense to generate money and be able to offer you their content for free without paying unlike many news sites that limit the amount you can read or put it behind a paywall or block those who use adblockers.
@nsoolo There are alternatives to invasive google trackers. EthicalAds & Blockchain-Ads is one example. They may not make as much money as google but it is the honest way to go for those who talk about and promote opensource software and hardware...

I have an EOS partition on my system, and I have EOS on a notebook. It's a well-made distro, and I like it. Yet, I feel I'm not giving it the love it deserves. In 2025, I'm resolving to put it to more use. ๐
I like Ubuntu well enough, but I did not enjoy Mint at all. It was the first distro I tried, same as many other folks I'm sure, and it nearly put me off Linux altogether. I moved to Ubuntu and am happy enough there that I've yet to try anything else yet.

Desmond continues to model for my Freecycle photos! This photo actually blew up on our local Freecycle. Everyone wanted to know about Desmond! No one wanted the mugs! I even had people sending me photos of their cats! Oh well, it was worth a laugh!

Long long ago, I was working in an office and brought a FedEx package into the mailroom. Handed it to a staffer, and left. When I got back to my desk I realized I'd made some error with the package (don't recall now what it was). So I went back to the mailroom and asked for the package back because I'd made a mistake.
