64 light-years away, a planet called HD 189733 b orbits its Sun-like star in ~2 days! We studied it in Xray light, which also revealed a companion star. Its beautiful blue hue is thought to be from glass blowing in 5,400 mph/8,700 kph winds. We love it💙 go.nasa.gov/3YSMDTV

Lava it!🌋
Our solar system isn't the only one with volcanoes! There's evidence of volcanism on 55 Cancri e, a planet 40 light-years away. Volcanoes there would likely be short and covered by lava due to the super-Earth's high gravity! 360° visualization: go.nasa.gov/406jrdz

I do wake up every morning at 5am though.

It came with sobriety. One of the odd side effects. We’re just morning people.

In a first, scientists have seen direct evidence of active volcanism on Venus. They made the discovery after poring over archival radar images taken in the 1990s by NASA’s Magellan mission.
