Went down to the shore today to fetch some seaweed for the garden. This variety of seaweed was super striking compared to the abundant olive and green going on.
Unsure what it is, the shape would say bladder wrack (Fucus Vesiculosus) but I'm not sure because of the colour
In the background, the #beach opposite #stornoway #harbour where we deployed our new equipment to capture #rope and #net mending #cuttings (#ELFG). The situation is pretty bad with #soil mostly composed of #plastic fibre once the #seaweed has decomposed. Hopefully we will stop this from occurring in our #environment.
