Happy Trans Day of Visibility everyone. I spent over 6 months writing and rewriting this article that I just published. Most of that time was spent debating whether or not to publish it.
I'm finally coming out; I'm trans. I hope this article helps.
I am publicly announcing that I am transgender. I have experienced gender dysphoria for almost ten years, but I have found a label that I feel comfortable with now.
I don't have words now to describe how beautiful and necessary the vigil felt last night. Due to security reasons, we couldn't advertise a V3ngeance event until the day of...but refused to cancel. Even in the cold rain, our community came together to express love & rage. #TDOV
